The KFPS Friesian Horse- beautiful, versatile, athletic, kind, willing, and able to do anything! The Friesian is a horse breed that originated in the Netherlands. During the Middle Ages ancestors of Friesian horses were used as war horses. Their size enabled them to carry a knight in armor.

P.S. One movie made with a Friesian horse was Ladyhawk with Rutger Hauer and Michelle Pfieffer. There is a scene at the end where Hauer and one nemisis fight on horseback inside a church. It’s awesome.
