Their fried chicken was better than KFC and gave regional favorites Churches and Popeye’s a run for their money. Did Arby’s buy them out? I thought it was somebody else, Hardee’s maybe, Whoever it was, they carreied the Roy Rogers chicken for several years but it kept slipping and eventually disappeared from the menu. Seems I recall Roy Rogers having the “Horsey Sauce” horseradish mayo.
