Kitties hijacked my heart, my furniture and my house..so far they have never hi jacked my computer browser ..LOL

They do love to sit or stand on my closed lid laptop.. better to block my view of the TV.

Correction:
The name is nginx..I just read Norton power eraser..a free down load will fix the problem, too.

First noticed?When I hit preview when I was trying to post..The “cannot find this site or page” popped up..with an error message click here and their site name.I had stupidly deleted some things in quarantine..before that...thinking I was deleting the bad bugs themselves. I was acting before thinking!

All seems well now..Malware byes seems to have done the job.
The nginx also has a “welcome to” page announcement..Eventually I think you are directed to their page everytime you click on something. I was very careful not to click their notice.
Perhaps that is why I could google for information on what nginx was. Opinions differed. Some people could not get email or google..

It lurks in ones hosts files and getting to them to manually delete is tricky for non pros.

I'm Glad All is Well with your Computer Now, Dear Meg! I had Something Weird Happen to me Several Months Ago;
Someone Hijacked my Email Address, and Somehow Sent Out "Get Rich Quick" Schemes to the People in my Address Book.
I also Received the Same Kinds of "Money-Making" Schemes from what Appeared to be my Friends in my Address Book;
The Hijacker had Utilized their Email Addresses, just as he did mine.

What a Mess! :(
