True Facts About The Angler Fish

The anglerfish is so called because of its method of predation. This is the fish that goes fishing. It has a long, modified dorsal fin spine sprouting from the middle of its head that ends in a fleshy growth that can move and wiggle to resemble another animal.

I had an archer fish in my aquarium in college. I came home a bit drunk one night and was sitting on the sofa when drops of water started hitting me. The dang fish was spitting at me because it was hungry, I hadn’t fed it.
