You must have a bunch of friends at church, based upon the responses here from the people who know you. I really want to encourage you to lean upon your church at this time.

They must have a system to help volunteers run errands, and take care of kids, and get back and forth. It sounds like you could use the help.

Lots of people have a hard time asking their church support group for help when they need it, but that is what church groups are there for!!

Good luck.

Our church recently closed up....so we had to find a new one. The one we go to now is a bigger church (not “TV” big, but big. We haven’t made many friends there. I needed help getting my daughter to GED classes and it took 3 days for them to find her a ride that would get her there for the next week, but she had to find another way home. When I was released from the hospital, the neighbor and her church brought me a few meals to help out, our own church didn’t bring anything, though they did visit me every day I was in church

The reason I chose that church though...when I was not able to attend a service, they had a few people who could get my kids to church and home. Unfortunately, I think that’s the limits of their “help” system.
