ESPN doing what a number of fans thought should have happened from the beginning.

ESPN fired him because new sports media competition means that they can no longer give a pass to Black Racists they have on their staff

I must admit to the same kind of horrified fascination I held for the Stanford Prison Experiment when I watch ESPN attempt to portray the NBA as compelling family entertainment. In addition, they pretend the NBA is just an indoor, lightly-clothed NFL in terms of fan support and interest.

Regardless of ESPN’s actions here, Donovan McNabb still isn’t that good of a QB.

In the recent interview Parker again went off and started talking about how Griffen (like OJ!) somehow wasn’t supportive of the Black cause.
What has been starkly missing from Parker’s racist discussion is what “cause” - exactly - has Parker been referring to? What “Black cause” do Parker and other Blacks still believe is necessary to fight against and not be cornball about?

Parker was pissed at this young QB because he had two parents,an education, and had not embraced stupidity, crime, drugs and hatred as a lifestyle.

I’m very impressed with Griffin personally, and of course, athletically. Just hopeful that his injury isn’t too severe. I think the league needs more people with his character as well as with his ability.

Forgive me for asking, but what is a “cornball brother”? I don’t think I’ve come across that before.

>> ESPN doing what a number of fans thought should have happened from the beginning.
The only question in *my* mind is why they didn’t fire the obnoxious chimp IMMEDIATELY.
If he had been white or Hispanic or Asian and said anything even close to as inflammatory they would have cut his mike right then and escorted him out the door pronto.
