Best AM band performance of any radio I have ever used. Period.
I know it's a transceiver, but of all the equipment I've owned, the receive on my old Kenwood 940-SAT is absolutely incredible. Hears things that the new modern rigs including my TS-2000 and TS-590 just don't hear!
