A generalized way of describing modern divorce in America, is that basically, looking at a family, husband, wife, children, home, and lifestyle, schools and just everything that makes a marriage, home and family, well the woman has the power to just kick the man out of that structure.
The father is only there as long as the female desires it.
If the tables were turned, and the woman was faced with losing literally everything, then they would not be filing for divorce so casually.
Excellent point. To take it even further, even if the woman had to pay 1/2 of everything, divorce would not be so casual.
