Adult film production company Vivid Entertainment, along with porn actors Kayden Kross and Logan Pierce, have filed a federal lawsuit against Los Angeles County, seeking to overturn a newly enacted condom law.
LA County voters approved a measure that requires adult film performers to use condoms while filming sex scenes within the county borders.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Vivid's lawsuit claims the new ordinance violates the performers' right to freedom of expression under the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
During a hotly debated build up to the ballot, proponents of the measure claimed they were working for the performers' own protection. Meanwhile, producers argued digital removal of the condoms from sex scenes would be too costly. They also threatened to take their business outside L.A.

Two observations:
1) If they get a female judge, the plaintiffs are sunk.
2) If they lose the suit, the Eighth Circus will be there to make sure the wrong conclusion is reached.
They should have only one law regarding this. That if any porn “star” gets AIDS or an STD, the STUDIO has to pay their medical benefits, not the taxpayer.
That's what fluffers are for.
Even they won't be needed if they use the digital enhancement option being suggested...:^)
