Message to Pols and Obama: You're scaring the elderly VERY badly
On the spot interviews | 11 January 2013 | Mene Mene Tekel Upharsin

Here's a message for the politicians and Obama, you're scaring the elderly very badly. You're scaring the very people who fear God, worked hard all of their lives, built this nation and some who fought for this nation.

When asked, "Have you ever seen this type of situation regarding politics before, 80s aged elderly say resoundingly, "No!". This evening during one of these impromptu interviews, as I was asking the elderly gentleman (86 years old) if he had seen this kind of political tension, his wife leaned toward me and said in a whisper, "We're scared!" He answered, "No." and then said, "This guy hasn't done anywhere near what he wants to do yet."

I haven't been so concerned about the rhetoric on guns knowing that from both sides, a lot of it is manipulation. However, when you start scaring my mom and the grandmothers and grandfathers of this nation who have done nothing but try to live correctly and work hard, you've crossed the line. How dare you? For what reason? To gain political power? Those spearheading this are evil beyond description and are going to answer to God. Mark my words, they WILL answer to God for what they're doing even though they don't think they will.

Ask the elderly what they think about all of this and they will tell you.

I think a lot of the Boomers and older did vote for this. They were deceived by the promise of ObamaCare.

In hard times, the elderly tend not to do well. In times such as major catastrophes, not well at all. I’m getting close to elderly (hitting 60 this year.)

No. About half the Boomers might have but the rest of us are Patriots. The others are Liberals..it’s just like the ‘60’s again. Half protest and do drugs. The other half go to Viet Nam and fight.

Sadly, the majority of cars I see with Ø / Plugs stickers on them, driven by whites, are the elderly...

My friends and I are all close to ninety and none of us voted for this usurper. Where did you get that idea?

No way...if we are able to read and remember, we know that it can only be bad for healthcare, investments and cost of living.

I only know a few lifelong Dems who continue to vote that way. They will not discuss why or even talk about it.

Ask the elderly what they think about all of this and they will tell you.

Not to worry.
To many here at FR, we're just a bunch of takers and useless eaters.

Most old folks just voted for Obama.

No. They didn't.

In the nine battleground states that decided the election where extensive exit polling was done on November 6th, 0bama lost the oldest demographic (65 and over) by the largest margin: by a whopping 18 points. He also lost the 45-64 demographic by a hefty 9 points.

The national numbers aren't as complete because exit polling isn't done to nearly the same extent in "safe" states, but they show similar results.

Incidentally, he also lost among Whites by an enormous 22 points, and he lost married females.

This election was entirely about dependency: poor minorities, middle class blacks overwhelmingly employed by the government, and single females. Even among young whites (18-24), 0bama did not perform significantly better in this election than past Democrats.

Please don't believe that driving past some idiot blue hair is evidence that old people voted for 0bama.

They didn't.

Oh, and just one more thing for people who’re guided by their prejudices rather than statistics or science: Romney had one of the best Republican showings in recent years among Black males. This is a group that doesn’t vote in nearly the same percentages as Black females, but among those who did, Romney got almost 30%, compared with nearly 0% from Black women.

Well, that just goes to show you that anecdotal evidence is worthless.

See my previous post. And have a look, among many other places, here: http://www.statisticbrain.com/2012-presidential-voter-support-by-demographic/

No, they weren't.

The older you were, the less likely you were to vote for 0bama. http://www.statisticbrain.com/2012-presidential-voter-support-by-demographic/

When you are old, remember you said this for that is what others will say about you then. In other words, they will assume becayse you are old, you have no sense. You are pitifully wrong.

iowamark is an idiot and any that think like he does are the same. The elderly in Texas would line him up against a fence and take target practice.
