The only photos with the CBS article are one of autos on a road and an empty parking lot with some trash here and there - where are the photos of people?
When a riot happens it is caused by people. I suppose in this instance that they were not the PC color.
It seems to me that useful tools for controlling unruly mobs were at one time available to the police. Pity that no longer attains.
And I’ll add that it’s a real pity the government drones involved weren’t torn to pieces by this mob. One could almost consider that a public service.
Doesn’t anybody at H.U.D. realize this sort of thing happens every time? A simple way to do it would let everyone sign up, then choose the 1,000 “winners” by the luck of the draw. That way it wouldn’t matter who was first in line or last in line.
It’s almost as if the decision makers at H.U.D. want this kind of result. hmmmmm.

These are people fighting to fighting to get first place in line for new freebies.
Just think of what is going to happen when the money runs out and we try to pry the ones already in government supplied houses out of them when the HUD can’t pay the bills anymore.
This arrogant dimocrat queen tried to tell me that section 8 housing recipients are good people who take care of the property and NO ONE has anything to worry about from those folks. They just need some help.
