Les Miserables is worth the time and money, IMHO.

Russell Crowe was truly great in Les Miserables, and Argo was thrill ride. Wait for Netflix or the DVD, but you should really see both.

Have already seen the original "Les Miserables" (1935) many times. Even watched the TV version.
Not even the (supposedly) great "Lincoln" will get me to fork over one thin dime to Hollyweird.

RE: "I'm single."
Is this an appeal for some guy or, because this is Hollyweird, girl to propose to her or what? (I'm now unsure about what she's trying to imply here ).

Both Argo and Les Mes are worthwhile wins. Ben getting the win was good too. They did a phenominal job picking the movies and actors, but a HORRIBLE job picking the TV shows and “stars”.

Why would anyone go see Lincoln. You know it is just another way to call America and especially Southerners are racists. The war wasn’t about slavery but state’s rights and taxes.
Pray for America

I would not waste my time on “Lincoln”, since it’s based on writings by serial plagiarist and lamestream media darling Doris Kearns Goodwin.
However, I did enjoy “Argo”, and “Les Mis”, especially the performances of Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, and Anne Hathaway.

Zero Dark Thirty is a waste of time and effort to sit through. It's soooo boring, with horrible writing and acting. It's amazing how one high school graduate, recruited by CIA was single handedly responsible for finding bin laden and confirming his death via a digital camera. All she needed was a ‘’S’’ on her blouse. Even Tony Soprano looked miscast. He's at least 50lbs overweight( too many cannoles ).

yep... I’ll wait on Lincoln...
Les Miserables movie, was astonishing... Victor Hugo was an unashamed Christian, (as well as a socialist — can’t win ‘um all)Redemption and life everlasting is the final outcome of the story, with incredible strife and suffering throughout the story.
I plan on seeing this movie as a Blu Ray, over and over again.

as well as a socialist cant win um all At least he lived in an era before Socialism on a large scale was proven to be untenable. Today's proponents have no such fallback position.
