Oh, indeed he is not.
He has wisely invested his money into many different, profitable ventures.
He now has the luxury of building his Christian oriented Solid Rock Foundation for Phoenix kids to get off the streets and into performing arts.
We’s one sharp, tough cookie with a quick wit and honed intellect and and I would never dare enter into a battle of wits with him.
Perhaps he generalized so as not to offend the real morons of rock and roll.

He does ~quietly~ back Republican candidates though and thinks Palin is awesome.
That remark above was during the Kerry bid.
He went berserker on the musicians who supported them and called them “traitors”.
The “long explanation” was his answer to the flak he got for doing so.
Not that he cares.
