Don't make that statement so all encompassing #ssh#le.
Obviously one of the few allowed to carry real bullets.
Another beneficiary of affirmative action,no doubt.Ten bucks says that the Major is is expecting to be a Colonel (a *bird* Colonel) by 1/20/2017.
Hopefully, the excited major will get a chance to kiss King Barry’s feet. That should really make his millennium.
Gazing deeply into my crystal ball . . . I foresee a brilliant military future for Major Jorge E. Vargas. So long as Liberals remain in charge of the military.
This officer is a prime example of people from other cultures and government origins who are only shills to change our heritage. The evil factor of this is that they have only used the USA for their own historical beliefs. The major represents the hidden danger to our Founders intentions. I write as a son of immigrants and a WWII vet who has seen many who would reap the sweat and blood of true patriotic service persons to cuddle up to an imposter like Obama.
An O-4 w/ 17 years and his highest award is an ARCOM?!?!
That’s one high-speed, low-drag dude.
I had the same thought...I served 21 years on active duy, and my career was hardly stellar. Still, by the time I reached O-4, I had an MSM w/OLC, an Air Force Commendation w/ 3 OLCs, an Air Force Achievement ‘Medal, a Joint Service Achievement Medal, plus an Air Medal and an Aerial Achievement Medal. Hate to say it, but this Army doesn’t seem to have a lot on the stick. But in today’s finest PC military tradition, he’s arranged a Pentagon tour where his ethnicity can help advance his career. By the time Obama leaves office, this guy will be a below-the-zone selected for full Colonel, with an in-residence slot to a war college and a return to the Pentagon or White House where he’ll get his ticket punched for his first star.
Seems to be a poster boy for the Perfumed Princes, as David Hackworth used to describe them.
My only positive comment: the good Major doesn’t speak for a majority of the military—yet.
He’ll probably get a Soldier’s Medal for his participation in the inauguration.
We met an officer at the uniform shop last week that was scrambling for uniform items. it seemed he was “asked” to attend the inauguration and had to spend about $500 just to get up to date.
In the sea-going world, normally only warship O-4/O-5 Commanding Officers received end-of-tour MSMs, as well as practically everyone on the Admiral’s staff above E-7.
Praying for heavy snow ... again.
that reminds me...
