If so, then I guess they'll all be leaving their hi-cap mags at the precinct. If not, then the people of NY have just allowed their elected officials to create a whole new class of citizen.
I guess the folks that are employed to protect the elite are going to get special privileges or so it would seem.
Not ready for prime time.

Adolf Cuomo and his Nazi Yawkers went off half-cocked when they wrote this crap. Any time you have a kneejerk reaction to something, anything you do to respond is going to end up being done half-assed.
They are Peace Officers 24/7. The weapons they utilize are for self-defense against those that are unsavory within the public. The very same unsavory public that citizens may deal with at some point-—unarmed. I guess some lives are more important than others. One last point-—the public has NO constitutional right to police protection unless they are in police custody. NONE.(Try suing a policeman, their department, the city/county for a slow response or no response for a crime in progress)
so it would seem
they passed the bill in the middle of the night - behind closed doors with no public/police input
Cumo used some ‘necessities’ clause to shove it through & the dipwads voted for it.
Because seven rounds is not an adequate number when it comes to protecting yourself and others?
No. It's not enough.
Citizens lives are, apparently, less worthy of protection.
Pretty much mocking the legislators, Cuomo, the law, and the police that are seeking to be exempt from the law.
