Yeah, right. Women have always worked. I’m afraid that something else needs to be blamed for the breakdown in families. Like maybe the fact that easy divorce and nihilistic lifestyles have been encouraged for the last couple of generations.

Thanks for the reality injection.

At its base, it’s a freedom issue. A woman ought to be able to choose how to live her life. Whether her free choice leads to a breakdown in society is immaterial to the point that she ought to have that freedom. If society ossifies itself by restricting women from being free to choose what they want to do, they might as well adopt Sharia law.

The only remedy, in my opinion, is to be better informed. Kids, daughters, especially, need to be taught the positive points of being family-oriented. They need to be shown the very real and psychologically-damaging effects of things like hookups and premarital sex with partners in premature relationships, the oxytocin connection, the more prominent effect of it on women than on men, and things like that. If they still persist in choosing the wilder options, nothing can be done. And they will pay for it. Things went wrong on the part of the parents years before the wrong choices were made.

Yes, that too. And yes, there have always been women who work. What’s new is the permanent, brainwashing insistence that all women must work; that working is the meaning of life, the way to fulfilment and happiness; that children are only a burden, ruining a woman’s life that would otherwise flourish scanning barcodes at a Walmart cashier all day, or adding numbers in some office.
