LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) A woman was arrested Tuesday after allegedly participating in a fight her daughter arranged with another child.
Two students from Dana Middle School prearranged a fight and met in an alley in the 1300 block of West Gaffey Street on Jan. 14 at 3 p.m.
The juvenile suspect brought along her mother and aunt, and during the fight, they both took part in the conflict and assaulted a 12-year-old victim, Los Angeles Police Department said in a statement.
Amber Lee Gutierrez, 33, voluntarily went to the Los Angeles Police Departments Harbor Station for an interview Tuesday and was arrested for Felony Corporal Injury to a Child.
Gutierrezs bail has been set at $100,000.
Detectives continue to investigate the incident and are asking for the publics help in locating the aunt and the juvenile suspect involved in the fight.
WHAT!!!!!!!now that’s illegal too???? My mom always went along with me to my gang fights,,,,she was head cheerleader!!!
Seems like when I was growing up there was some rhyme that went something like,
“Sugar and spice and everything nice”.....
oh well, never mind.
That was part of our lost civilization.
Now we are heading pell-mell into the second Dark Age.

Well said.
For all I know, this is a bully getting a backyard beat down to lay off the kid she’s bullying. So I can’t judge one way or another. As far as the fight - 3 on 1 with 2 adults among them is pretty unfair.
Like I say, if the “victim” jumped in the alley by the others is a school yard bully getting her come-uppance, then it is hard to sympathize with her.
I just don’t know the situation involved.
Picture to follow so I don’t have to code this post. The 12 year old getting it is rolled in a ball on the ground. My guestion is regarding the other kid, the blonde getting ready to punch the other kid. Are those brass knuckles or is that a glove?
Sorry for the big pic. Couldn’t find another and didn’t realize it was so big.
It's kinda blurry and hard to tell just what it is but it triggered a memory for me. Way back when I was in high school (late 50s) the dress code for guys was a white tee, jeans w/ a 1 1/2" garrison belt with a big nickel plated buckle and engineering boots.
When things got serious the belt was yanked from the belt loops and wrapped around your fingers, more or less covering your knuckles, with the buckle front and center. Back then the waist was smaller than the hips and so you didn't lose your britches while delivering a beat down.
