FULL TITLE: 'We're just like everyone else': Transgender girl, 11, writes speech in response to Obama's historic inaugural address because she wishes he'd spoken about her community too
When Obama addressed the nation in his inaugural speech on Monday, he became the first president in history to speak about gay rights during the momentous swearing-in ceremony.
But while many in the LGBT community lauded his support, one 11-year-old transgender girl was left disappointed that he failed to address her community too.
Sadie Croft, who transitioned to a female when she was in kindergarten, has now written an eloquent essay in light of the speech, explaining how transgender people also need the nation's support.
Her mother said that although Sadie was proud of Obama for speaking about gay rights, she had still wanted to pen her own version of the speech, which she entitled: 'Sadie's Dream for the World'.
'Transgender people are not allowed the freedom to do things everyone else does, like go to the doctor, go to school, get a job, and even make friends,' the speech states.

This is the result of child abuse in a lot of cases I bet.
In this case Mommy wanted a girl but got a boy. So she screwed with the little boy’s mind. Now she has a mentally ill boy who thinks he’s a girl.

No, you are a confused pre-teen with dysfunctional parents. Parents who want to either gather attention or wanted a girl. Or parents who are themselves homosexual with a union totally for the convenience of having a child ... a child that would be subject to their desires as to gender.
Why is it that with any other delusional disorder the standard protocol is to not indulge the delusional behavior or thoughts, but with gender identiy the approved treatment is the exact opposite.
Remember when someone with a brain could tell this child “No, you aren’t. You have a mental problem that your parents are contributing to/causing?” Or when the parents would be jailed for child abuse? But not today. Today, when everyone gets a trophy for being ‘special’ and told their ‘special’ for every outburst, bad behavior and mental problem, everyone and all they do is ‘special’.
Ah, to live in a rational world again.
A 5 year old “transgender” is a tragic illness, and no one has the courage to say it?
No, no your are not just like everyone else. Not everyone is mentally confused as to what they are. Most human beings do not even need to look into a mirror to know what they are. I am sorry you have this problem, but a problem it is and one you need to get taken care off.

I’m not a fan of CPS but they should have taken this kid when he was a kindergartner and placed him in a loving foster home.
At the same time they should have arrested the parents and whatever psychologist ‘diagnosed’ this gender identity problem.
This poor kid is going to, at the least, need some REAL psychiatric care, not some whack job with an agenda that wants to make things like this appear normal.
This is so wrong, it’s a serious crime and they’re acting like it’s normal???
When I was a kid I wanted to be a firetruck, spaceman, you name it. Kids can’t make these decisions, they can’t enter into contracts and the people whose only job is to protect and raise their kids are whackos who want to show how tolerant they are by allowing this; I feel terrible for this child.
Years ago, male twins were born and during the Bris the Mohel accidentally chopped off a part of one of the male’s penis. The Doctors thought the only solution was to raise the child as a girl and they gave him hormones and dressed him like a girl and eventually did the surgery. Eventually he found out the truth. He committed suicide. The poor kid had no one to look out for his best interests like this child.
I hope this child believes in God because he’s the only one he can trust and get the truth from.
The only thing I can think to do is pray for him.
I’m practically in shock over this. If I told my father that, he would have dressed me up as a girl and dropped me off at school or said I could dress like a girl if I bought the clothes with my own money. He would have made his point. One thing he wouldn’t have done is shop for a psychologist who thought this kid had a gender identity problem. If the idiot parents had waited a month and also didn’t indulge his delusions by (I’m guessing here) allowing him to live as a little girl in kindergarten, he would have got over it and wanted to be something else. Sodom and Gomorrah have better morals than our current society.
This child needs our prayers badly. Grrrrr...

I am a butch lesbian trapped in a man’s body denying me the opportunity to transgender myself to the masculine being that I already am there (before my “view finished evolving” I just considered myself a straight male...but now I see the light—straight males are not considered cool, especially if they want to be manly...but a butch lesbian is quite in, and allowed to be manly—so that’s what I am—except I am even more exotic and should be celebrated even more because I am a male lesbian—shunned by the male-o-phobic majority of lesbians).
