The family is wading in brass. Some we have firearms for, some, the family used to have firearms for. I went digging in the ammo cans a few weeks ago and ask around about who had a certain weird Swedish rifle that I had never heard of... no-one knows. Must have been something dad had for a while and got rid of. He's dead and doesn't answer questions anymore.

Powder, we have. Bullets, push comes to shove, we can cast, and I've got the gear to make the casting dies that we don't already have.

Primers, that's more difficult, but according to my informal census, we've got enough to handle that little Mexican-American war thing again, with centerfire, without resorting to caps and nipples.

I have not actively reloaded ammo for some time and had to start scrounging for brass recently. I am not in bad shape, but don’t have enough to feel comfortable with the current brazen gun grab by the Commie Dems.

I look for this to settle back down later this year.

Glad I live in TX. No danger of confiscation here, WILL NOT HAPPEN.
