Artistic depictions during Akenaten’s reign changed from the established Egyptian traditions, just as Akenaten pushed to change the religion. Akenaten was also about fundamentally transforming his society.

There's more on that transformation ~ artists kept going back to the old matrix and fixing stuff.

Probably both of these characters are simply the illegitimate spawn of evil space aliens.
