When an amateur prospector strapped on a metal detector and set out to look for gold he was hoping to get lucky, but he had no idea how lucky he would be. The prospector, who wishes to remain anonymous, was searching for the precious metal just outside of Ballarat, Australia, on Wednesday, when he came across a massive gold nugget weighing in at over 11 pounds.
Cordell Kent, the owner of The Mining Exchange Gold Shop in Ballarat, told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation that the find was one of the most significant in his 20 years in the business: We have 800 prospectors on our books and only a couple of those have ever found a nugget over 100 ounces.

Wow!
Wouldn’t a ‘nugget’ that size be difficult to hold? I saw the video and it seemed that object appeared lighter than it should be if it were gold.

Not at all—the article said it weighed less than 12 pounds. At about $1,700 an ounce, it doesn’t take much weight to crank up the cash value.
He could script one in along with all the other drama.
Todd shut down his prototype trammel and now is going over to the other camp to screw it up.
OK, I had to LOL at that....
Yeah, it's probably worth three times that to someone....
Sheesh! What I’m saying is, if you look at the size of that ‘nugget’ in the video and watch how easily it’s being handled, something’s not right. I would think a ‘nugget’ of that size would weigh far more than 12 lbs. if it were gold. Perhaps it’s not solid gold and contains other metals.
Todd is an incompetent fool. His lack of planning is laughable. Good show though.. lol
Only a fool spends his borrowed money on an unproven prototype trammel. ...all prototypes have inherent problems & issues.
