There was a time when the most important thing was for women to help protect the homefront. It wasn’t a demeaning or easy job. If anything happened during a war, then it was up to the women to fight against the enemy. I find that role just as hard and highly important as the front lines. I am so sick of the “women should do everything men do” attitude. We are women, not men. It doesn’t make us weaker. It does make us different.

Women want to be men and men want to be women. Everything is backwards.

Here exactly lies the problem, if everyone is called out to fight overseas, who’s left to defend the country? However, at the same time, I do sometimes feel that if someone wants to go out into a foreign land, and get shot at, fine, go out and do it. I would argue people who want to go to fight overseas should watch Band of Brothers or Saving Private Ryan first, because it’s a bloody business, and yes, people you don’t want to die get dismembered or blasted to bits.

Call me sexist, but as gruesome as it would be having blood and body parts of guys on me, it would be even more gruesome having dismembered women in the field. Contrary to movies, it would be like Full Metal Jacket, people aren’t going to spare women, even if they’re American, because they are shooting at them.
