When my grandfather was in his 70s, his doc told him to give up Scotch. “It’s bad for your health.”, or somesuch, was the BS reasoning.
Grandpa’s response? He fired the doc. He enjoyed a scotch or two in the evening, right up until his passing at the ripe old age of 87.
