There are some good reasons for circumcision.

There are NONE for a tattoo.

Besides which we see a fair amount of infections from them.

Not that many, and none I'd take as a good enough reason.

Reasons for a tattoo:

Some Afghan men were getting tattoos so their body parts could be identified if separated from their bodies due to bomb blasts.

So my poodle can be identified if lost (he gets the tattoo, not me).

And, lastly, if you want to take it with you when you go, get a tattoo.
