UPDATE: Sony has invited press to a New York City event on 20 February 2013. The company announced the event on Thursday 31 January, inviting us to "see the future," linking to a PlayStation Meeting 2013 website with few details except the 20 February date and a time of 6 p.m. EST.

Just like the PS3 wasn't compatible with my PS2 games.

What did you find to be disappointing about PS3?
I understood that I would most likely have to re play any PS2 on the PS3 because of the lack of memory card slots.
But it was small price to pay for wireless controllers and the like.
When I got my PS3, I was enraged when it came to backward compatibility.
And the worse part, my PS3 plays most of the PS1 games I still play.
Gah! Why Sony!?!? That makes no sense!
