[Vanity] Berries?
Radio | Now | Me

Posted on 02/08/2013 12:18:42 PM PST by TBP

During Rush's program in a commercial break, I heard an ad for Shari's Berries.

I thought that they were one of the sponsors who dropped Rush during the Sandra Fluke controversy and he was not letting those sponsors come back. (I am under the impression that Carbonite is another.)

Has Rush let them sponsor him again or was that a local ad trying to circumvent him?

Nope, they have been loyal. The ones who dropped or suspended were Quicken Loans, Sleep Train and Sleep Number, Citrix Systems Inc, LegalZoom, Pro-Flowers, and Carbonite. Many of those have resumed advertising.

“Quicken Loans”

I work in the mortgage industry . AVOID Quicken loans. They are a high pressure sales organization. I could tell stories about what customers have told me who called Quicken for a quote.

A guy in yesterday said they tried to get $5,000 from him UPFRONT on his credit card. Avoid them at all costs

It’s a good company as its parent company. I don’t eat berries but I have tried them.

I’ve used them twice in two years, for my step-mother’s birthday, and she absolutely LOVES them! From her description (I’m in KS, she’s in NY), they’re very large, very fresh, and INCREDIBLE!.

So far, they’re her 2nd favorite gift from me... For a get well present, I sent her a singing “Soft Kitty” plush (Big Bang Theory) from ThinkGeek.

Mark

You are correct and I had the exact thought today when I heard it so it had to be national. They canceled their advertising but kept the RushBerries site active against Rush’s wishes. It was a big deal then. I did notice that they didn’t use “Rush” as the promo code or send them to the RushBerries site.
