Both bassists were amazing...but in the final analysis, I’d go with Squire. McCartney was quite good - more melodic.

My fav bassist I ever saw was Jaco Pastorius.

I was also a fan of ELP - saw them early in their “Works” tour when they had a small orchestra behind them.

But “Yes” was the absolute best of the “Prog rockers”. One Yes concert was in the round - a rotating round stage in the middle of Riverfront Colosseum. My late wife and I were in a luxury box - great visual but absolutely horrible sound quality up there.

I saw them on the “Union” Tour...I’d like to see them on their new tour, but I don’t know if I can handle hearing anyone other than Jon Anderson singing their classics.
