The GSD should have won the herding class. Two reasons I think she didn’t even though she has won every other title under the sun. The reasons are the judge handled GSDs and the handler was the worst I have ever seen. Could not control the dog. She has the most beautiful long stride gate I have ever seen for a GSD.

I am so disappointed. Terrible to do to a wonderful show dog.

A GSD in the herding class?

Well, I guess that is about right for the AKC idea of herding.

REAL herding dogs herd. They don’t show. For real herding, no one gives a rat’s rear how the dog looks, only what it does.

Yeah, I noticed the GSD was pulling her up and down the ring.

Looks like she (the handler) needs some training with the Dog Whisperer or Barbara (Walkies!) Woodhouse !!

I wish I’d known Westminster was on, or I’d have watched. The herding group is my favorite.

Check out my name. My current GSD is the four-legged love of my life. She has the most beautiful gait, and when she runs across a field at the park, I can’t help but notice that all eyes are watching her. There are other pretty dogs at the park we visit, but none who move like her.
