the best thing you can invest in is reloading equipment, then stockpile components

I take it you haven't tried to buy reloading equipment or the supplies lately.

That would have been good advice a few months ago.

I had to look around just to get dies for my new 30-06, forget about brass, powder or bullets.

The last thing the OP should do is settle for a gun/caliber because of any shortage. I advise him to be patient and wait for the market to stabilize. There will be plenty of reloading equipment and components available in a few months.

These people, such as the OP, saw no use nor need for such guns or ammo six months ago so there is obviously no dire need.

He should wait and buy smart, and that means getting started reloading.

You act like the fag commies are going to outlaw shooting.

Too late to stock up on components for this scare. I had to mail order bullits directly from the manufacturer and powder and primers are very difficult to find.

Luckily, I have the staples stashed away, I wanted to try some different loads and left the stores empty handed.
