Obama, Boehner and the American Theater

Three words appear in my notes after every line I jotted down as I watched last night, after the line on deficit reduction, on the American Jobs Act, on the president's proposals about science and technology investment, on climate change, on infrastructure development, on immigration reform, on passing the Violence Against Women Act in the House, on the Paycheck Fairness Act, on raising the minimum wage, on education reform, on ending the war in Afghanistan next year, on helping veterans, on gun control, and even on a 102-year-old woman from North Miami who was celebrated for casting her vote after waiting hours to do so.

The same three words in my notes after every line: "Boehner didn't stand."

IMHO, anyone who watched Barry’s State of the Union Show AND TOOK NOTES really does need to get a job and a hobby. Maybe a girlfriend/boyfriend too.

Boehner didn't even stand for dead children last night. There is not much else to say on the matter.

He looked like he was standing to me.

We flipped in and out of the SOTU over the hour or so of rambling. But never noticed about Boehner not standing, so am very glad to hear this report.

The president offered a number of very fine proposals last night, and did so in a manner that was rousing without being overbearing. The portion of his speech on gun control was moving indeed.

So the liberals think Hussein delivered a fine performance last night. And the Republicans (Oompaloompa's) lost.

What else is new?

I watched the dog show instead of watching O’django spread his manure to the masses. How many lies does it take before people stop listening to a blowhard politician? The dogs were more intelligent and and better looking then most of the people at the SOTU.
