My Letter to Senator Rubio

Posted on 02/15/2013 5:50:02 AM PST by Jacquerie

Senator Rubio,

It is my understanding the GOP plans to fold next week and allow Hussein to appoint Hagel as SecDef. I hope I am wrong, and if I am, please disregard.

I watched the stumbling fool give non-answers to the Senate Armed Services Committee last week. I know the GOP months ago asked for clarification to his possible contacts with radical Muslim groups. His recorded remarks over the years drip with anti-Semitism.

With Hagel at Defense, Brennan at CIA, our military will be eviscerated, Israel will be destroyed and Obama's Muslim Brotherhood allies will reign supreme from Morocco to Iran.

All of the above and more leads me to the following: The GOP must understand that we conservatives have just about had it with the squishy GOP-E who fear the leftist media more than they love their country and Constitution. The small fraction of conservatives who did not vote last November and gave Hussein a second term, may grow enough to give Nazi Pelosi the House in 2014, and will certainly become a rushing torrent of defections by 2016.

Resistance is on the rise. Gun sales are stratospheric. Only Hussein's Code of Federal Regulations grow faster.

Our Framers gave us peaceful means to affect change that were not available in their struggle with Great Britain. It is of the utmost importance that these peaceful means be used to put the brakes on our headlong dive into arbitrary, authoritarian government.

I ask you to influence your colleagues to not gaff off the legitimate concerns we have for our once Constitutional republic.

These dangerous men, Hagel and Brennan must not be confirmed.

TOPICS: Miscellaneous
KEYWORDS: brennan; constitution; hagel
One of my better rants. Be an old fashioned penpal with your Congressional delegation.

The Obamedia is reporting that they have been assured that the GOP will not block the nomination of Hagel next week. After all, this post is too important to be made “a political football.”

Really? Someone should have told the Democrats that when John Tower was denied the post of Secretary of Defense because he was called a “womanizer” and drank too much. One of his chief accusers was Ted Kennedy!

Any Republican who votes for this lousy nominee needs to be replaced.

The GOP having staved off cloture yesterday, seems to think it’s all over and will roll over and play dead, so both Hagel and Brennan will be part of the dictatorship soon.

Well done. Too bad your logical concerns for America will fall on deaf ears.
I’m rather hoping I, too, will become deaf soon so the sound of the coming gunfire will be a bit less bothersome.

Brennan reminds me of one of these bumbling fools who got a low level job in the government 30 years ago. He was then what his countenance reveals him to be.....arrogant and stupid. He was always given jobs that were those, even if he screwed them up, would cause no harm to life or property.

Being a govt "employee" he could not be fired, so over time he gained some seniority, thus a little power, although he was still arrogant and stupid.

So we arrive at this day..Brennan is more arrogant and just as stupid as when he was a mere "child" in the bowels of whatever agency he worked in 30 years ago.

He can be arrogant in his job, or he can be stupid in his job, but being both at the same time will do serious harm to the CIA.

If by some miracle, he gets confirmed, we would hope that there will remain a core of mid-level competent people at the CIA who will tactfully circumvent Brennan's stupidity.

Dear Senator Rubio:

I am writing you to make you aware that “Hagel” is not a Spanish name, hence, you need not give him amnesty. Nor vote for his nomination as Sec of Defense

Can’t the repubs technically hold the Senate open instead of a recess? Avoid the inevitable Recess Appointment that will surely occur if Hagel isn’t approved before then.
IIRC the dims pulled that on Bush.

Obama will increasingly do as he wishes. If needed, he could get away with appointing a judge to the SCOTUS while the Senate was on a lunch break.
