Parents Complain About School Ad Excluding Whites From Tutoring Program (video)
CBS Denver ^ | 2-13

Posted on 02/15/2013 12:58:59 PM PST by ExxonPatrolUs

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – A school principal said no white children were allowed at an after-school tutoring program, and now some parents call it discrimination.

The principal at Mission Viejo Elementary in Aurora sent a letter telling parents the program is only for students of color. Parents CBS4 talked with said they were shocked to see, in this day and age, what they consider to be segregation.

“I was infuriated. I didn’t understand why they would include or exclude certain groups,” said parent Nicole Cox, who is white.

Cox’s 10-year-old daughter needs tutoring. After receiving the notice, other parents complained to the school’s principal, Andre Pearson.

“We have come so far in all of these years to show everybody that everyone is equal, that everyone should be treated equally … this is a form of bullying,” Cox said.

Before Cox could complain to the school, Pearson contacted her directly. His voicemail only seemed to reinforce the segregated tutoring idea.

“This is Andre Pearson. It’s focused for and designed for children of color, but certainly, if we have space for other kids who have needs, we can definitely meet those needs,” Pearson told Cox in the voicemail.

Yes, likely.

My issue is with the Zealots.

Those who make up crap about “all” public schools and from there
proceed to claim that ALL kids who attended public schools are
a bunch of socialist faggot drones who put condoms on bananas.

This gets me torqued up a bit, since my boys attended public schools
and are doing just fine and never heard of no banana condom bullshit.

Zealotry and generalization, that’s what I object to.

Please remove me from your list of pings.

I'll try really hard to do that, it may be tomorrow before I can get to it.
This computer has been giving me problems and I'm doing my best to fix it.
Sometimes the system just randomly generates ping lists of people who are
zealots or even people who generalize or paint with broad brushes.

I'm sorry if this ping has reached you in error, if it has then you
probably should attribute it to all the kids who went to public
schools and subsequently turned out just fine. Because honestly
they all think you are a poopy-head for calling them names and making up
fantastical garbage about them. It's always those dang kids.

In closing, I'll attempt to remove you from all my lists of pinging,
but who knows how effective that will be. Tech is a crazy thing.

BUT.. since I’ve got you here...

Perhaps you would like to point out where my kids learned to put condoms on bananas?

Maybe you can list ways in which my kids are socialist faggot drones?

Possibly you might explain how my kids have learned to be gulag prisoners?

I mean, hell.. these are you favorite little points aren’t they?

Come on, now! Hit us with some specifics!

Trash my kids, go ahead! Obviously you know so much about it...

Please no pings.

Please no generalizations about other people's kids.
Kids that may be serving this country without condoms or bananas.

Then we'll see.

Ball in your court.

There are some fundamentals that **all** government owned and run K-12 schools share. I have asked for links to exceptions but none have ever been sent to me.

—They are NOT religiously neutral because it is impossible to have a religiously neutral education. They are godlessly secular in their worldview by law. This is reflected in their classroom presentations, textbooks, curriculum, school policies, and homework assignments. ( No! A Christmas carol or two does not make a secular school God-centered in their worldview. ) Just to cooperate in the godless government school the child must learn to think and reason godlessly. How could it be otherwise? He also risks learning to separate privately held religious belief from his publicly lived life.

—**ALL** government owned and run K-12 schools are a single payer, socialist-entitlement. Merely by attending children risk learning that any voting mob powerful enough to give them tuition-free schooling is powerful enough to give them **lots** of free socialist goodies.

-—***ALL** government K-12 schools owned and run by the government trash all First Amendment Rights. Speech, press, assembly, and expression of religion are strictly controlled by the government school workers and godless secular humanism is the religion sponsored by the government schools.

-—Government schooling is compulsory for all children whose parents can not randsom them by way of home or private schooling. Compulsory means police and court action and the threat of imprisonment. The danger in this is that children learn to be comfortable with government compulsion.

-—**ALL** government owned and run K-12 schools are a price-fixed monopoly cartel that is giving a service away for tuition-free. The danger in this is that children risk learning to be comfortable with government ( fascist/communist) control of markets.

-— Most government owned and run K-12 schools are based on the prison-like Prussian model of schooling. In many ways, the children are treated like prisoners. Sadly, children risk learning to be comfortable prisoners of the state. ( There are possibly exception to this but I don't know of any.)

Conclusion: Personally, I see government schooling to be evil for the child and a threat to our continuing freedom as a nation. Good people would never cooperate in such evil and I have made a decision. I will not have a government school teacher for a friend. They are either too evil, too stupid, or too much of a brainwashed Useful Idiot to do this children and threaten our nation in this way to be a friend.

Ok, so this principal is saying that somehow black children learn differently than white children? That's what it sounds like. He says the program is set up for blacks. Sounds to me as if he believes that blacks and whites should be taught differently. If that is the case why not segregate the schools and teach the black kids with the methods they think will work only for blacks and teach white kids those methods they think will work on whites.

I don't know where in the hell that leaves Asians and kids from south of the border.

This guy is a walking poster boy for saying there is a difference between blacks and whites, in other words he is racist as hell.

“In fact, I predict that colleges will be out of business in a few years because of technology and it's presence in our homes. you do not need a physical campus to learn anymore. it can all be found on the web. “ (lucky american)
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

You are absolutely correct about the availability and quality of Internet education programs not only for K-12 homeschooling but on the college level as well.

But...Please understand that the K-12 educational complex is **NOT** at all about education. It is about babysitting. It is about make-work jobs for modestly talented white collar workers. It is about supplying contract to the vendors and their employees who service the government education-industrial complex.

These schools are teaching your kids that they are second-class citizens and by the time they grow up, they’ll be slaves to the US Government,
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

You get it but other conservatives don't. Fundamentally, government K-12 schooling is evil for the children and threatens our nation's continuing freedom. I am going to shout so that other conservatives can see this:

IF CHILDREN ARE SENT INTO GOVERNMENT OWNED INDOCTRINATION CAMPS THAT ARE A SINGLE PAYER SOCIALIST-ENTITLEMENT, PRISON-LIKE, GODLESS, COMPULSORY AND A PRICE-FIXED MONOPOLY CARTEL THAT FUNDAMENTALLY TRASHES ALL FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS, WE SHOULD NOT BE SURPRISED IF WE HAVE VOTERS THAT ARE COMFORTABLE WITH:

**GODLESSNESS
**SOCIALIST-ENTITLEMENT
** BEING TREATED LIKE GOVERNMENT PRISONERS
**GOVERNMENT COMPULSION
** DON'T RECOGNIZE THE IMPORTANCE OF FUNDAMENTAL HUMAN RIGHTS
** AND COMFORTABLE WITH FASCIST CONTROL OF THE ECONOMY!

You get it. I don't understand why other conservatives don't.

I consider government K-12 schooling to be so harmful to the children and such a threat to freedom that personally it is beyond me why anyone would **willingly** seek a job with such an institution. I have made a decision. I no longer will have a government school teacher or worker for a friend. Good people won't don't that to kids or our nation. ( I don't have abortion workers for friends, either,)

That is typical in articles with a racial component. I’ve seen it many times in articles on the various black mob rampage attacks in the last few years, for instance.

People “get it” in large numbers and speak their minds.

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL

This ping list is for the “other” articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)

The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

Mornin’, Humblegunner,

Posting with too much hemoglobin in your caffeine stream is risky. You forgot the /sarc for your post.

I am not a home schooler, but race based programming, curriculum assumptions, and other racist actions/ideas/programs are found in the vast majority of Publik Skrewl Collective facilities.

I did assume you were deliberately excepting private and religious schools, however.

White people have become so scared/stupid that they don’t even know how to complain about injustice anymore!

'Political correctness' has effectively muzzled people in this country...it is good to see Dr. Carson addressing this in a public forum.

>>You get it. I don’t understand why other conservatives don’t.

Because, they believe in the whole Left vs Right lie. They believe that they have champions in Washington that wear the elephant as their mascot and they leave the fighting to their champions.

The other reason is that they are content with the status quo. Perhaps they are wealthy enough to absorb the taxes and rising costs without impacting their way of life. Or they are just too lazy to notice that our futures are being sold down the river.

They believe the lie that a working class union member in a factory is their enemy, but the CEO of a corporation that lobbies the government to pass regulations that put their smaller competitors out of business is their friend.

They can convince themselves that public schools are not child abuse because they succeeded in getting their kid into a magnet school or that IB program that they can brag about at parties. They can do this and still afford the new SUV or luxury sedan with a clean conscience.
