Yeah, I thought they could only fire bean bags...

Seriously, I've read that they are buying hollow points, is that the type of ammo used to qualify?

Damn expensive way to practice...

actually, I heard that that is what LEO and domestic forces use.

Yes hollow points are used. Officers must qualify with what they will use in the field.

Hollow points aren’t much more expensive. OTOH, the frangible-bullet rounds are another matter....
