That’s not all. Many manufacturers now use anti-bloating agents during the heating process. After cooling the product, the margarine is then misted by sprayers which contain synthetic butter flavoring agents and compounds which are very similar to real butter. These synthetics are also a by-product from the cardboard industry, used to layer and stick the cardboard together, giving it a firm consistency.

The part about luring worms out with raw meat was the funny part.

When I was a little girl in the mid 40’s margarine was a new product. It was white and a packet of orange powder was included with the white margarine. My mother would let me mix the orange powder until the margarine was yellow.
