The Germany-based skincare company surreptitiously snapped photos of people waiting at the airport, then instantly created fake newspapers with their faces labeled as fugitives which actors casually made sure they got a good look at. Next, an announcement came over the intercom giving the targets physical descriptions and saying they were wanted by police. Finally, TVs blared breaking news that warned they were dangerous and unpredictable.(video)

An elaborate hoax that seems rather Orwellian.
Here is a direct link to the video that will bypass all the tracking cookies and other crap on the zany video site:
Very cool! But as the other poster said it’s very Orwellian. Kind of scary. If a commercial product company can manipulate reality so quickly and easily imagine what the vast resources of our federal government can do.
I am curious about something:
I see you post links to videos here a lot.
Every one that I see goes through Uvideo or zany or some similar site but the video always originates from Youtube.
Why is that? Why not just copy and paste the link directly to the Youtube video? Why go through some other site first?
The only thing I can figure is that it somehow pays. What is the secret to this and how do the rest of us Freepers get in on the action?
I also notice you rarely if ever stick around to respond to any replies to the comments other Freepers leave.
That’s cold.
You probably won't get rich doing this but you can easily bring in $30-50 a month with a little effort. Hopefully this poster is kicking back some of his money to Free Republic in form of donations!
Would be cool if one of the targets punched one of the perps in the mouth and then asked him if HE felt stressed.
I’m pretty sure the whole thing was staged and that everybody (including the “targets”) were actors.
One thing about German airports is that they are loaded with security personnel carrying sub-machine guns. As soon as this woman was told it was a hoax, she should have started screaming “Polizei!”, and they would have come running.
Unless every single security police in the airport was in on the hoax, and it was authorized by the police, there would have been hell to pay.
Then again, they probably used actors, in a closed section of the airport, with lots of pre-approvals triple stamped by the appropriate bureaucrats.
The concern here is the technology that could/will be used in the theft of rights can be so precisely applied/targeted.
That horrible, cruel. I would have been very upset if they had done that to me.
