At first I thought that the prom would still be of some entertainment value as a freak show, but at the price of bids, clothes, etc., it is not entertaining enough to be worth that.
Better to have a private event and get the classy occasion you paid the big bucks for.
I think Proms should be abolished, make them entirely private affairs. I don’t see why parents would let kids go these days.

I didn’t go to my prom. I spent prom night partying in a farmhouse with a few Gypsy Jokers and their old ladies, smoking weed and drinking margaritas til the sunrise.
I sure as Hel wasn’t dancing the hustle with any crossdressing shemales.
