“My Corgi eats my cat’s poo. Even when kitty-litter encrusted.”

I thought everyone knew that litter encrusted cat crap was also known as “ Doggie Nonpareils “.

(I have never known a cat to eat dog crap.)

I started-out for the shelters 5-6x,, but turn back. And I alway keep a keen lookout for strays, but the many losses, after full lives and lotsa love, leave me an empty shell. I need to reconcile its needs vs my own. 58 yrs is a lot of loses to mentally & emotionally cope with. I’m trying; really I am.

We had two Siamese when our children were babies/toddlers. Didn't realize until we would view our home movies, that one or the other of them were in always in the background talking!

It's funny when you have one of those family times where you watch several home DVD's and start looking for them to appear. They never disappointed! LOL

I had a neighbor that had a big white shepard. He had to sniff you before you could get in the door, then he’d leave you alone....One night they came home and the side door was broken in, blood in the kitchen and living room, dog sleeping peacefully in his bed...they didn’t pass the sniff test....LOL

Dogs are by nature pack animals, people are just part of their pack........with the exception of lions, cats are solitary hunters...as pets still true to their nature...

The think it's this:

I prefer cats a lot more but the house feels empty without a dog, too.

“58 yrs is a lot of loses to mentally & emotionally cope with.”

Oh-that breaks my heart. I wish there was something I could say to make it better-they really do wrap themselves around your heart and leave a big hole when they are gone. Some kitty needs your love and attention tho-so many are without homes and unwanted. I would have a hundred if I could. Just breaks your heart.

If I had room, I’d adopt as many as I could adequately care for; I miss ‘em all terribly.

A dog is a smelly security system that sounds alarm when there is no threat and can be disabled with a week old slice of pizza.

RE: a week old slice of pizza.

My Veterinarian tells me it’s bad for the dog’s health. If you want him/her to die sooner, this is the way to do it.

In contrast, cats give their owners (somewhere around 80% infection rate) brain parasites causing schizophrenia-like symptoms.

Complete rubbish of course.....cats are much smarter, wiser than dogs...dogs are lemmings that do tricks for food. Like Liberals do.

No, you’re wrong. All of my cats were feral...they are the best loving grateful cats of all.

So true. My friend adopted ‘the smartest breed of dog’Jack Ruseel... and had to take it back. It not only ate it’s own poo, but the other dogs poo too. They always smell, drool, are loud, annoying and much too needy.

I was told by a dog owner that the dogs eat less poo or ignore it altogether if the dog food they are supplied with is lower quality. The high quality stuff still has a lot of nutrients available after it passes through the dog, so the dog goes for it. The cheap dog chow does not.
