The death of Andrew Breitbart was a dismal augury for conservatives. One year ago today, Andrew died. RIP to a hero. Your work is done, ours is to plow forward to fight the death march of our country.

Tis a dreary FRiday in the frozen tundra....if I’m up you can get up. Yet another dusting of snow this morning. See you in class.

Augury -- the assorted wood dust and chips resulting from use of an auger.

Not to be confused with julury, which is of course the various pieces of gold, silver and gems which adorn necks and wrists and fingers.

If you miss class you'd best come up with a good story....like sleeping in your bed when a sinkhole appears over night and sucks you in never to be seen again.

LOL A++ I am sure that’s what the administration wants to do to Bob Woodward this morning.

We finished February with some precipitation on 25 of 28 days. But never more than 3 inches of snow on one day, so not too bad. From a shoveling aspect.

I shoveled a couple of inches of snow that had been rained on and it turned to slush. Very heavy job. I am sick of the snow. It snowed on our fire last night. It’s getting old. Not much to shovel this morning though, probably a broom would do the job. Still, every time I go out it snows. I am sick of it. Not an augury for an early spring.

Will the upcoming Ides of March be an augury for this nation, as in Julius Ceasar’s Rome?

Plus today’s commute was kind of hairy, what with all the airplanes falling out of the sky and the criminals let loose from the prisons.

All of the auguries warned of this obvious consequence but this hateful woman still thinks it's a great idea. Unless she filed an exception with her union pals, she's going to be hit hard like the rest of us and I can't think of a more deserving target.

It seems weird to me that even though it is colder than yesterday and flurrying quite a bit, I would rather run outside than hit the treadmill again. Something fun about running while it’s snowing I guess. Mental Floss had some hilarious snowmen on their site yesterday. We won’t get that much.

The Anointed One’s second inaugury
Was loaded with socialist augury
Take stuff from the makers
To give to the takers
When that fails, resort to more perjury

Lots of people hanging on your posts early in the morning, eh?

Guess you better augery them there holes real deep.

(Seriously, if there really were gold in the bottom of the holes that Obama and Biden keep digging us into with their deliberate fiscal policies of failre and debt, I’d be willing to auger the holes myself.

But there’s not even mud down there - just more and more shiittes.

The Lyin’ King plans on entering Jerusalem on the same day (of the Hebrew calendar) as the Historical “Palm Sunday”.
It would be an even more ominous augury if he planned to make the entrance seated upon Michelle’s ample rump.
