Amen to that! I kind of liked Sponge Bob when it first came out. Then I watched it with my kids and started seeing it as homo-indoctrination propaganda.
Why do even post to me?
Why is it that every post to me is a personal insult? Can you even write a post that isn’t about something besides the topic of what you are reacting to?
Is it not true that the cast of that program had all kinds of problems with drugs and alcohol?

“Songbird”, hey? Now there’s a trivia question for you.
I do remember the opening line, though: “From out of the clear blue of the western sky comes Sky King!”
That was back in the day when Timmy fell into an abandoned well each week, Lloyd Bridges ran out of air each week, and Penny was kidnapped each week. (I think they mixed them up every now again, with Timmy getting kidnapped and Penny falling into the abandoned well.)
Even at the age of 10 I knew that these shows were completely lame. I also knew there weren’t that many abandoned well lying around either. Besides, after about the third time stupid Timmy fell into one, you’d of thought ‘ol Paul would’ve gone around and put sturdy cover on ‘em all. And Lloyd would have been more careful about checking his air gauge, too.
You are so right. My best friend died of pancreatic cancer over 10 years ago. Less than three months from discovery of the cancer to her death. Last few weeks in a drug induced coma because the pain was killing her. She was 36.
I miss her every day, all my thoughts and prayers to anyone who has this and to those that love them, it is a horror.

You are the ones that ALWAYS has some comment about sex, drugs, or alcohol. the post was about he passing of the star of a television show. YOU are the one that changed the topic to drugs and alcohol. As for my comment I simply asked why YOU can't say some thing decent. Maybe your conscience is finally getting to you.

It is true that ONE cast member had an addiction problem that she fought. ONE, not every as you said.
That being said you may seriously consider going to speak to your spiritual director or finding one if you don't have one and talking to them about your constant need to discuss other peoples sex lives.
All I did was ask a question. I remember something about that cast having alcohol problems, that is all. Why is that not something worth talking about?
Will it get better if we ignore it?
Admitting the problem is the first step toward a cure.
You know I don’t think I’ve actually seen a single episode of that show. The premise sounds like some feminist crap.
You’re right though, no way 2 teenage girls would be happy with that, they’d probably refuse to go.

Yup. I tried to watch this show, but couldn’t keep at it. I couldn’t stand how her children talked to her, I saw very little family affection or respect for the mother. I didn’t want my son to act that way and disallowed it as approved viewing in my home.
As for single moms, black women have been doing it for years (and I’m talking before the fall of the black family thanks to the Great Society, etc.). Show a white woman on TV raising kids alone and she’s some kind of saint. I wasn’t impressed.
