If they used “Texus Receptus”, The LXX, or the King James it MAY be worth my while. If they used the “New Age” “Preversions”(NIV, NAS, etc) I HOPE IT FAILS!
While I also prefer the Textus Receptus, the differences in the other versions are mostly, very minor and we are not 100% sure which best mirror the original autographs.
Unless they are doing a word for word reading of the Bible, any adaptation of it to a film or TV series is inherently going to have more differences from any common version of the Bible, than those Bible versions have from each other.
How true the writers, producers, directors seek to stick to the orignal stories in whatever version (assuming it is a mainstream one KJV, NKJV, NIV, NASB, etc. as opposed to “The Message” or some totally distorted version)of the Bible they use, will have a FAR greater impact on the accuracy or inaccuracy of the program.
Dude, way too heavy on “law” and far too light on “grace” - try not to lose the forest for the number of leaves on 1 tree branch.
