I switched from bacon to lean ham.
It probably won’t help at all

Balderdash...
Here a bacon, there a bacon...
My favorite place for breakfast is Shoney’s...endless bacon...pure pig-out time...

I just love your post:
According to the hog unions processed meats are killing their members herd by herd.
First they came for the sows ears, then the pork rinds, when they came for the sausage it was all over., Porky Pig.

I wonder if they used nitrates in those days.
I get uncured from Krogers but still don’t eat it very often.

There is an absolutely enormous number of people on Planet Earth who simply cannot abide the thought that someone, somewhere, might actually be enjoying life.

“Now you’re going to have me thinking all night about breakfast.”
We never eat bacon, but have been thinking a lot about it after stumbling on to the show, “United States Of Bacon”, on TV last week. Good grief - they showed some decadent, but yummy looking stuff. Interesting show.
To: BenLurkin
I had a brother in law who ate bacon or what ever every morning, in fact he would eat anything that would not eat him first, and he also drink modestly.
He died at 101.
To: BenLurkin
This “study” is bogus. There is no way to accomodate all the variables, therefore, it’s not science, it’s agenda. Therefore, I think I’ll have processed meat for lunch.
To: dvan
Congress must act to register sausage and bacon. Anyone buying or consuming it should be prosecuted.
Either that or they should make it free for all seniors.
Kill them off so they cn get the inheritance tax sooner.
