BRADDOCK, Pa —Two Braddock police officers were suspended Thursday night after getting into a fight inside the police station.
Police said the part-time officers got into some sort of dispute that quickly turned physical, and one of them fired a Taser at the other.
"They've both been suspended pending the outcome of the investigation at this point," said Braddock Mayor John Fetterman. He depicted it as an argument that started over something "stupid" and escalated.
Both officers drove home at the end of the night. Neither one was injured, and the Taser hit was not exactly a direct impact, police and the mayor said.
As of Friday morning, the Allegheny County District Attorney's Office was handling the investigation to decide if any charges should be filed.

And of course that's the important thing, right?
Isn’t Braddock the place refusing to allow talk of a highway in order to not spoil the, um “view”?
They should have been drug tested immediately.

Braddock doesn’t surprise me a bit that it was something stupid. It’s pathetic what passes for local cops these days.
The lovely ghetto of Braddock, complete with communist mayor, had “Wanted” poster up on every phone pole in the city for Mitt Romney before the election.
Oh dear. I do love watching Union Thugs tear each other apart. The funny part, they couldn’t even brawl “to standard”.
I never knew that about the poster, where was our local media? Wait, silly me.
We need not worry now, the unemployment crisis is over! yay! Everyone in Braddock now has a job.
To those of you who have never been to Braddock, think “London after the Blitz”.
I lived in Braddock in the ‘50s for 3 years and it was a decent town. Was visiting there recently and it is desolate. You could have fired a shot down the middle of Braddock Avenue and not hit anyone. Sad!
I’ve been thinking that Braddock could be the scene of a wacky reality show on TruTV or something, starring the colorful Mayor Fetterman.

So one guy pulls a “less lethal” but, in some instances absolutely lethal weapon and leaves the station of his own free will and accord?
No arrest, right there, on the spot???
That blue line looks more and more like a fortress each day.
Braddock still has people that live there?
I used to drive through Braddock every day to and from work (at the Westinghouse in East Pittsburgh). It was dying then. The bakery was the only shop in town without bars on the openings.
