I got to meet and get Chuck Connor’s autograph a few months before he died. I asked him where the rifle he used in “The Rifleman” was. He said it was on his mantle surrounded by pictures of five presidents. He didn’t say which ones. Wonder where that rifle is today. Great show. He was good in “Brended” too.
