Ha! You should ;-)
I'm also afflicted with the youth gene. Everyone in my family is. When I was in high school, I couldn't get a date to save my life because I reminded the girls of their baby brothers.
I regularly got carded for cigarette and alcohol purchases until I was about 43. I was so accustomed to it, it didn't even bother me. Even now, people are shocked to discover that I'm pushing 60 when I tell them.
My dad is 82, and in better condition than a lot of guys my age. He can still out-pace me when we're on walks together. I have to laugh about that, because it hasn't changed since I was a kid :-)
I have gotten that kind of reaction so much since I was about 50 that I've gotten used to it, too. When I went to doctors who hadn't seen me before, I'd tell them what they see is not true. My outside looks one way, but my insides are my real age. Told them not to believe their eyes when it comes to my insides.
My son is 53 and looks like he's no more than 25. I wish someone would do a study on skin and why some skin doesn't seem to age after a certain time in a person's life. My linage is English on both sides which tends to mean light skin and blue eyes, both of which I have.
Is your skin light? Do you have blue eyes?
