I’ve got my best pair of field glasses in my hiking lunch pack along with some water-I’m hiking to the top of the trail on the hill facing west at sunset to watch the comet for awhile. Got to be sure I get back before twilight ends, though...

I think I’m better off without the hellhound this trip-she is bad juju for human predators, but might attract animal ones like cougars and wild hogs. I doubt there will be any strange humans on the trail at that time, but I have pepper spray and a bat if there are...
I just watched the vrry beginning so far, with my daughter this morning. She was good at making me feel old with the 5 timers sketch. She didn’t know or recognize anyone except AlecBaldwin and Chevy Chase (from Community).
