I could see how it might be a much happier occasion this time since Catholics aren’t mourning a death too. You really have to respect the Pope leaving if he didn’t feel his health allowed him to do what he felt he needed to do. Few people have that kind of heart to step down from any position.
I’d add burn out to the reasons to step down, too-that is another thing few people will do-witness how mean and intolerant some people get om their positions at work-and they won’t turn loose until they are dragged down kicking, screaming and being sued...
