Apple and Google are just as bad, though Google may be the worst of the lot.
I will not get a “smart phone” until I can get one with Ubuntu Touch or FireFox OS PRE-INSTALLED! I don’t want to spend any money on any MS, Apple, or Google product if I can help it.
Both companies rely too heavily on an interventionist government to tilt the table in their direction.
