While one of my brothers went there in the late 50s, I was just visiting from UT, over in Knoxville.
The big frat party weekend brought in all of the top name groups and singers of that day. Each fraternity wanted to claim the best of that era.
I knew very little of “progressives”, aka Marxist, back in those days. America was still the USA, not the new USSA.
I really do not know when the “progressive” term started being used in America.
