Having gone through the EEOC myself, I can tell you that unless one has a recording of being told why one cannot work at a place, it is a waste of time to even try. I spent a whole year fighting the system, proved the prospective employer to be lying over and over again... and at the end I was told I had not proved my case.

Actually I personally think the EEOA was a bad idea. An employer should be able to choose the employee he wants regardless of his reasons. It’s called freedom of association.

But the deed is done and this unconstitutional law is on the books and the courts have backed it so now EVERYONE has to live with it (except the US Congress that exempted themselves from this horrible law).
