I have come to the conclusion that HS football players think rape is okay.

That's a gross generalization! Both of my sons played HS football, as I did and their grandfather did and none of us are rapists!

The key words are “high school football stars”. If they weren’t they would be in jail. Disgusting but the reality of sports these days.

Sexual orientation of children, society non-morals agenda, and lack of parenting all pointing these youths to commit no limits on behavior acted against others without any forethought what so ever...At the moment, these kids (and what they did so wrong and should be thoroughly punished) think that behavior has no consequences...even these young girls that are socially inadequate are being led into dangerous situations by animals ready to pounce - and have no idea or want to believe this is going to happen...fake self-esteem - social media like Facebook and Twitter - all contribute but are not the sole blame...removing kids from public schools into home schooling until the education institutions are reformed to include punishment, morals (Bible), and other conservative thinking to include the appreciation of others rights that do not include SEX as a main right....there are so many contributors to these acts and it all comes down to some socialist agenda of devaluing freedoms over some stupid form of expression...unbelievable.......

was it forcible or statutory? is going to be my first question.

part of the problem is fashion. the fashion industry is pushing to outfit girls to look like prostitutes at younger and younger ages, and it seems that girls are developing earlier. add in the earlier age of forced sex education, these girls think they’re ready.

(i’m not making excuses for the boys, but it is a contributing factor)

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL

This ping list is for the “other” articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)

The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

This kind of stuff was going on in the 70’s, the 80’s and the 90’s. These atheletes are made to feel that they are entitled and can do what they want so they do. The real problem never gets addressed.

Two high school football stars, 18, charged with sexually assaulting girl, 13, ....

Of course it was statutary. Look at her age. It could have been forcible too, but it definitely was statutary.

There is a FReeper on another thread that seems to view his molestation/rape/abuse at the age of 16 as some sort of positive event. Pinging him.

Do you see, Elk, that this sort of behavior is seriously criminal and wrong? Do you see this girl as a victim? Or, as some of the commenters at UKDailyMail see her, as a “ho” who enjoyed the “attention?”

The woman who molested you did you no favors. Whether she was so screwed up that she was unaware of the damage she did to you; or whether she knew and did not care; you were the victim of a crime and need to stop hiding behind a macho acceptance about it. Why? Because your macho acceptance of this abuse is leading you to conclude that teens are perfectly fine with being sexual prey.

"One Twitter user" is a real dick.

Look at who they have as role models in the sports world. It is the age of entitlement for the athletically gifted.
